Majka Lipak – entrepreneur and social innovator, CEO of the ‘Work from Bed’ Social Enterprise, the first marketing agency, which was created to provide employment for physically disabled people. Co-founder of the ‘Zdalniacy’ startup, bringing together employers and candidates with physical disabilities, who could work remotely.

Majka Lipiak uses marketing to change the world for the better. She often makes public appearances and trains others in the field of social economy and marketing. She debunks the myths about the disabled, promotes such people’s unique talents as well as showcases innovation and remote work as a chance to reducing barriers on the job market of the future.

The Businesswoman of the Year in the category of social activity within the oldest competition awarding the enterprising women’s achievements in Poland, organized by the Success Written with a Lipstick Foundation. The prizewinner of the “30 Under 30” Forbes ranking (Polish edition) rewarding the most talented entrepreneurs of the young generation. The representative of Poland in the Merit360 event that gathers young people determined to implement the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Her social startup got distinction in the European Social Innovation Competition organized by the European Commission.

Majka is a member of the Business Council of the Faculty of Management at the University of Economics in Katowice and an active citizen of the British Council program – Active Citizens for Social Enterprise.
