Montse Delgado Llavina
Head of Entrepreneurship Education, EIT Health
Montse is an education management professional with a passion for technology. Expert in digital business management, within a background in marketing and comunication, Montse counts plus 17 years of experience designing and delivering projects both at global and European scale in the education sector. She is currently employed at the cross path of education and health, steering innovative solutions to answer to great societal challenges, such as increasing the exposure to innovation and entrepreneurship skills as to contribute to the upskill and reskill of European workforce in relation to deeptech talent shortage.
She started in the field on innovative education by implementing vocational training pilots in London, Naples and Barcelona. Following that experience, she joined the top-ranked IESE Business School, where she lead one of their knowledge portals for seven years.
After her experience in the top-notch business school, she joined a consultancy firm -PAU Education- in 2012 were she delivered several consultancies and strategical implementations for the DG EAC and the DG CONNECT of the European Commission. One of the flagship initiatives she was involved in was the relaunch of the eLearning Europa into Open Education Europa and secondly the Open Education Challenge, the first Pan-European edutech incubator.
Before joining EIT Health in 2018, Montse lead the digital transformation of the Marketing and Communications department of an online learning institution in the construction and arquitecture space. Since 2013, she also mentors educational projects and startups following the lean startup methology at ESADE Business School and she is also lecturing at Open University of Catalonia (UOC) on digital competences. Last but not least, Montse has been involved in international events and conferences such as Online Educa Berlin (OEB).
Eager on digital transformation of business and adept in edtech and learning trends implementation to obtain business objectives. I am member of the Digital Business & Innovation Club at ESADE Business School.
