Gabriela Morawska-Stanecka
Senator, Senate of the Republic of Poland
Gabriela Anna Morawska-Stanecka (born 17 March 1968) is a Polish lawyer and Civic Coalition politician.
She graduated in law from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow in 1991 and then completed postgraduate studies in medical law and bioethics in 2017. Senator Morawska-Stanecka was Deputy Marshal of the Senate in the 10th legislature, Deputy Chair of the Extraordinary Committee probing into cases of illegal surveillance and its impact on the election process in the Republic of Poland as well as Ambassador of the Senate of the Republic of Poland to Women Political Leaders network. In the Senate of the 11th term She is Deputy Chair of the Foreign Affairs and the European Union Committee and Member of the Executive Committee of the Interparliamentary Union. In non-governmental activities, the Senator is Member of the Association of the Committee for the Defense of Democracy and Member of the Congress of Women Association and Congress Plenipotentiary in Katowice. She speaks English, Spanish, Russian and German.
