Katharine Klačanský

Research Fellow, EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy

Katharine is a Research Fellow at EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy and specializes in climate change, economic sustainability, environmental security, digitalization and cybersecurity.

Katharine holds an MSc degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Leiden University in The Hague, The Netherlands taught jointly by the Clingendael Institute, and the Institute for Security and Global Affairs. She completed her BA in Political Science from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada.

During her studies, Katharine worked as an assistant analyst at the Hague Center for Strategic Studies in The Netherlands where she focused primarily on cybersecurity, disinformation, European security, and NATO StratCom initiatives, all leading to several publications.
