Nadine Seleem
Programme Officer, IUCN Green List
Born and raised in Egypt, Nadine started building a strong connection to nature and protected areas through her love for the Red Sea. She joined IUCN in 2019 and is currently the Programme Officer for the IUCN Green List in the Protected and Conserved Areas Team at IUCN Headquarters. She works on programme and project implementation across multiple regions and globally, leads on communications and accompanies the scaling up process for the IUCN Green List.
Nadine graduated from the University of Geneva with a Master’s degree in Standardization, Social Regulation and Sustainable Development; and has worked in Europe, North America, and the Middle East in both private and non-profit sectors.
Aside from her career, she speaks 4 languages, has a foody heart and loves to try new things, on her free time you can find her trying new activities from dancing to painting, improvising a new dish or striking up conversations with new people.
