Women will lead the change
Now is the right moment for all women to take over the responsibility that history has charged us with, to bring human society to a new level, where cold ambition is replaced by shared values, where greed is replaced by empathy, where wealth is called wellbeing.
Luckily the wind is changing, thanks to all the women who have dedicated their lives to a better future for the next generations.
These words are the conviction of a woman who built a life and a successful enterprise in a deep rural, traditional, conventional and patriarchal area in Albania. This small example is bringing change in the lives of many other women in the region. If we dare to put our dreams and convictions to action, if we come together, if we give each other a hand, we will absolutely make the world a better place.
To those women who see this mission as impossible, I would ask them to seek inspiration from their mother or grandmother. Look closely, and you’ll find the coded testament within their lives. When you have found the key to that door you will be ready to lead, and when you lead, please lead like a woman, from the heart!
