Peter Palvolgyi
Chief Executive Officer, ALL DIGITAL
Peter Palvolgyi is the Chief Executive Officer at ALL DIGITAL where he joined in 2012. Peter is responsible for strengthening the position of ALL DIGITAL as a leading European actor in the field of digital competences for citizenship, inclusion, education, and employability. He is in charge of developing, planning, leading, and implementing the strategy for the further development of ALL DIGITAL. He has been connected to digital inclusion since 2000, taking active part in the implementation of the Hungarian telecentre program. From 2001 to 2002, then between 2004 and 2006 he was the Executive Director of the Hungarian Telecentre Public Service Non-profit Company.
Since 2012 Peter is responsible for managing the ALL DIGITAL international community of 78 member organisations (digital competence centers including various education and training organisations, public libraries, public authorities, CSOs, NGOs, universities, VET providers etc.) from 26 European countries and its four online thematic clusters.
Peter is also the responsible manager of the DigComp CoP (614 members) and the European Digital Certification CoP (357 members) hosted by ALL DIGITAL, set up in 2019 and in 2020, in collaboration with the JRC of the EC. In both CoPs, Peter contributed to running a broad stakeholder consultation process in the update of DigComp Framework to 2.2., and the first consultation of the European Digital Skills Certificate.
In his capacity of CEO and previously Chief Operating Offer at ALL DIGITAL, Peter has established and managed several working relationships with policy-makers, researchers, educators, Edtech companies (e.g. Microsoft, Google, Huawei etc.) and other key stakeholders in the field of digital education. Some of them are also active members of the advisory board of ALL DIGITAL. Peter has excellent English oral and written communication skills. He has a solid background in project and financial management and academic background includes an MBA and a diploma in public administration.
