The 2023 Summer School for Female Leadership in the Digital Age took place in Valencia from the 25th to the 30th of June. 29 bright young female leaders of tomorrow - one from each EU Member State and one from both Ukraine and the Western Balkans Six - were selected by an independent Jury. The School received many thousands of applicants and those lucky enough to receive a place took part in the experience of a lifetime with a week of masterclasses, debates, teamwork and cultural visits in beautiful Spain.
The School’s goal is to unlock young female talent and to equip participants to take a lead in realising Europe’s digital future. By nurturing their potential and teaching them the skills they need to thrive and grow, the programme works to empower the #NextGenChangemakers to lead the tech revolution.
All 29 participants were part of an unforgettable experience. They worked hard but also played hard and made friends for life. These photos and videos give you a flavour of the different aspects of the week and just some of the things our lucky participants got up to.
